I am a female freelance artist, writer, and web developer in my early twenties. I've been running Soundtrack Howl since 2010, during which time it has acted as my personal space to develop and design websites, and most recently, my portfolio. I operate out of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I spend much of my free time writing or working in Adobe Photoshop to produce high quality pieces of artwork. I also study Biology at the University of Manitoba and look to graduate with a Bachelors degree within the year.
I am passionate about animals and keep an assortment of reptiles (leopard geckos, crested gecko, ball python and dumerils boa), as well as a cat. I enjoy illustrating and drawing, and try to spend as much time outdoors as possible; hiking, fishing, and soon hunting.
My dream job is as a concept or storyboard artist, developing creatures and monsters of all varieties and illustrating stories. With a background in Evolution and Biodiversity, I intend to apply my knowledge of animal physiology to concept art in order to develop realistic and believable creatures for use in movies, television shows or cartoons, comics, books, and other forms of media.
